fill in the gap

The brand we all once loved, GAP, has been undergoing painfully sluggish sales and has been desperately trying to regain its popularity and a new fresh look. Its recent attempt at a new logo definitely got some publicity, but was ultimately a failure. However, there seems to be a glimmer of hope.
Gap's holiday campaign got me a little bit excited for winter dressing (although I dont think the sleeveless look and almost bare leg would work in the snow.)
In addition, for its holiday campaign this year, the GAP asked several creative types to pick good causes and talk about them in a series of short videos. Every time someone "Likes" one of the videos on Facebook, the featured charity gets $1 (and the fan gets 30% off a non-sale Gap purchase.) In the ad campaigns you may recognize style blogger Susie Bubble, and Lauren Bush.

In addition Valentino is teaming up with Gap for a 7 piece capsule collection. Valentino? sign me up.
Fashion icon+ fashion staples has definitely gotten my attention. Unfortunately though, these pieces wil only be available in select stores in Europe. This eyecandy will have to suffice.

Lets see if this will give Gap some momentum.
